chibisama✯ Significant Neutral - Confronting Albedo and destroying Proto Merkabah
Regained - Game #182, Eliza's Brother, something I missed
Shareable - Two extra uses
Cutscenes - Proto Merkabah dungeon montage (there are some tough fights here, along with some MOMO feels) - Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 (minus the parts that he isn't there for) - Part 4 (ditto) - Part 5 (ditto)
Notes - OKAY THIS IS A DOOZY. Slots neatly into the timeline though, he remembers Albedo threatening to blow up a planet and the crazy plan to infiltrate Proto Merkabah to stop him, so this is the stopping him part. Final dungeon and bossrush of ep. I, aww yeah.
(These cutscenes don't switch videos at bossfights like the KH ones I use do, so--after Albedo says "Feel my pain for yourself!" there is a bossfight in which he moans pornographically when you hit him and asks you to hit him harder. Because. Albedo.)
But largely this is a doozy for some existential crap and family feels. The foreshadowing of What Happened On Miltia is getting stronger and stronger, he has a pretty good guess at it by now from what Albedo said and the vague flashes of horrible memories he had during this memory.
And there's something else worth noting--when the reactor flared up, Jr's power flared up in answer, that sphere of red psionic energy. The power that he never willingly uses. This is his first hint that he isn't actually in full control of the Red Dragon. Which is Not Okay.
...he's less involved in the rest of this memory but it's epic regardless. Not that he's aware that chaos did a thang.
+ Albedo is being a supervillain just to grab my attention and force a confrontation as some sort of punishment game?
+ Because I closed a mental link and abandoned my comrades?
+ Wait is this also why Albedo is way more crazypants as an adult?
+ WTF I thought I had full control of my powers?
+10 going through the lab where MOMO was made is...strange
+10 KOS-MOS continues to be epic and she and Shion continue to be adorable, yes
+15 wow Albedo has grown some disturbingly masochistic tendencies (I totally don't enjoy smacking him around really sob what is my life)
+30 sadomasochistic blackrom with twin
+100 guilt and self-loathing
